Multiple Organics is proud to announce the creation of the Multiple Organics Foundation, an organization committed to market stabilization and public education of quality food ingredients that are safe and sustainable.
The foundation is set up to accomplish its goals through three main channels. The first channel provides necessary capital to growers through harvest based finance and loan assistance programs in order for them to acquire needed food handling equipment and processing facilities. The second channel provides food safety education assistance, training programs, and food safety consultants for processing facility design and implementation, food processing equipment design and procurement, laboratory testing standards, and seed retention programs. The foundation’s final channel works through creating public education programs in the United States and abroad. In the United States, these public education programs include subjects such as health awareness, product health and nutrition benefits, product uses and proper handling, while the abroad public education programs focus on subjects such as under developed community education, environmentally vulnerable community support and education, nutrition programs, and school and community development programs.
